  • No implementation project: set up, import and go live yourself, usually in days.
  • E-invoicing and the accredited-provider connection included, rather than a module plus a provider contract.
  • UAE VAT 201 with the emirate split and the FTA Audit File out of the box.

Switching from Odoo to WisoBooks

Moving from Odoo to WisoBooks usually means you were using Odoo mainly for invoicing, purchasing, stock and accounting. Export the trial balance, open invoices and bills, products and stock quantities at a period end, and import them. Keep Odoo read-only for the retention period if it also held HR or manufacturing records.

  1. Switch at the start of a VAT period, so no return is split across two systems.
  2. Bring across the trial balance, open invoices and bills, and stock at cost on the cut-over date; keep the old file read-only for the five-year retention period.
  3. Fill in every customer's and supplier's TRN and emirate before your first e-invoice; the network rejects what a PDF tolerated.
