UAE e-invoicing in one package: accounting software with the accredited provider included

Most businesses are being told to buy UAE e-invoicing twice — once from a software vendor and again from an Accredited Service Provider, often with an integration project and an annual commitment paid before the first invoice leaves. WisoBooks works with partner accredited providers, so the connection comes inside your subscription: one monthly or annual price, sized by how many invoices you issue, and live in under ten minutes.

From 1 January 2027 the largest UAE businesses stop sending invoices as PDFs and start exchanging them as structured data over the Peppol network, through an Accredited Service Provider (ASP). Everyone else follows on 1 July 2027. The rule is simple; the way it is being sold is not. A business is typically asked to choose accounting software, then choose and contract an ASP, then pay someone to connect the two — three decisions, three invoices, and three places to look when something goes wrong.

WisoBooks takes two of those decisions off the table. We work with partner accredited providers, and the connection to them is built into the accounting system and priced into the plan. You choose one package by how many invoices you issue each month, you appoint the provider in EmaraTax in a few clicks, and your invoices leave as compliant PINT AE documents from the same screen you raise them on.

Why e-invoicing usually costs more than it should

The Ministry of Finance publishes the list of providers allowed to transmit. When it was last updated, on 25 September 2026, it named 56 accredited providers and 8 more pre-approved and in final assessment. Choice is not the problem. The problem is the shape of the offer most businesses receive when they buy the provider separately from their software:

  • A separate contract with the provider, usually for a year, sometimes paid in advance.
  • A one-off integration or mapping project to connect the provider to your accounting system — frequently the largest single cost, and one that can run into thousands of dirhams before a single invoice is sent.
  • Per-document or volume-tier fees on top of the software subscription you already pay.
  • Two support desks, each able to say the problem is on the other side.
  • A second portal to check whether an invoice was actually delivered.

One WisoBooks package

  • Accounting, invoicing and e-invoicing in one subscription
  • Partner accredited provider connection included
  • No integration project and no up-front fee
  • Pay monthly, or annually with a discount
  • Plans sized by the invoices you actually issue
  • One support team, and the status on the invoice itself

Buying the provider separately

  • A software licence and a provider contract
  • A mapping layer somebody has to build and maintain
  • Set-up and integration costs before go-live
  • Annual commitments, often paid in advance
  • Volume tiers negotiated with a second vendor
  • Two desks and a second portal

The packages

Every plan includes the full accounting system and the e-invoicing connection. What changes between them is how many invoices you issue a month, how many people use the system, and how many warehouses you run. Annual billing costs the same as ten months — two months free.

Live in under ten minutes

  1. Create your account — about two minutes

Sign up with the UAE edition. The chart of accounts, 5% VAT, the zero-rated and exempt categories, AED and the VAT 201 report are set up for you before you see the dashboard.

  2. Enter your company and TRN — about two minutes

Legal name in English and Arabic, address, emirate and your 15-digit TRN. WisoBooks checks the format as you type, because a transposed digit is the most common reason a first invoice is refused.

  3. Appoint our partner provider in EmaraTax — about five minutes

The law requires the appointment to be made by you, in your own name. We show you exactly which provider to select and which screens to open, so the step that takes most businesses a procurement cycle takes you a few clicks.

Bring your UAE PASS login. It is the only thing on this list you cannot do from WisoBooks.

  4. Connect and send

Press connect in WisoBooks, raise an invoice and choose Approve & send. The document is validated before it leaves, transmitted through the provider, and its status appears on the invoice itself.

Reliable by construction, not by effort

  • Every invoice is checked against the PINT AE rules before it is sent, so a missing field is a message at your desk rather than a rejection from the network.
  • Status on the invoice: queued, sent, reported, or rejected with the reason — with the full timeline of what happened and when.
  • A transport failure is retried automatically on the same number; a document is never sent twice.
  • Reported invoices are locked. Corrections follow the rules: a credit note to reduce, a new invoice to increase, both reported in the same way.
  • Supplier invoices arrive through the same connection, because receiving is half the mandate.
  • The same ledger produces your VAT 201, so the return agrees with the invoices the FTA has already seen.

Questions people actually ask

Do I still need to sign a contract with an ASP?

No separate contract is needed for the transmission that comes with your WisoBooks plan. You still appoint the provider in EmaraTax, because the law requires every taxpayer to do that in their own name — we show you exactly how.

Is there a set-up or onboarding fee?

No. You pay the plan price, monthly or annually, and nothing in advance. The 14-day trial is free and needs no credit card.

What happens if I issue more invoices than my plan allows?

You move up a plan when you need to, and the higher allowance applies straight away. Plans are sized by volume precisely so that a busy month is an upgrade, not a renegotiation.

Can I use my own accredited provider instead?

Talk to us. The package is built around our partner providers because that is what removes the integration project; if you are already contracted elsewhere, we will tell you honestly what is possible.

Will my credit notes be reported too?

Yes. Credit notes are reported through the same connection as invoices, with the reason code the UAE rules require.

Is WisoBooks itself an Accredited Service Provider?

No, and it does not need to be. Accreditation applies to the party that transmits. WisoBooks produces the invoice and keeps your books; our partner accredited providers transmit and report it.

Where these facts come from

Checked against the following on 25 September 2026. Rules and dates change — if you are reading this long after that date, verify before you act on it.

WisoBooks is a bookkeeping and business-management tool, not an accounting, tax or legal advisor. Nothing on this page is tax advice, and tax rules change. Confirm your own obligations with the relevant authority or a qualified advisor.
